This Privacy Policy explains how VidoSave handles information associated with website visits and public-link processing, including submitted URLs, technical request data, cookies or similar technologies, advertising services provided by Google and other authorized advertising partners, consent choices, service providers and user privacy rights.

What this policy covers
This policy applies to VidoSave.net and the public website functions provided through it. It does not control the privacy practices of independent third-party platforms whose links users may submit to VidoSave.
When you follow a link to another website, that website’s own privacy policy and terms apply.
Information VidoSave may process
The exact data depends on how the website is used and which infrastructure or optional services are active.
- URLs you submit. The public media link entered into the downloader must be processed so the service can attempt to identify the source and available media.
- Technical request data. Web servers, hosting providers, security systems and network infrastructure may process information such as IP address, browser or user-agent data, request time, requested URL, response status and diagnostic information.
- Contact information you choose to send. If you contact VidoSave, information in your message and the contact details you provide may be processed to respond to the request.
- Browser-side data. VidoSave and authorized service providers may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for site functionality, preferences, security, consent choices, advertising delivery, fraud prevention and measurement where those services are enabled.
Operational, security and support purposes
Information may be processed to operate the link-processing service, return results, diagnose errors, protect the website, enforce reasonable usage limits, investigate abuse, respond to user or rights-holder requests, and maintain service reliability.
Where optional analytics, advertising or consent-management features are enabled, additional processing may occur as described by the relevant provider and the site’s consent controls.
Cookies and identifiers can support site functions, security and advertising
Essential or functional technologies
WordPress, hosting, caching, security or consent features may use cookies or local storage that are necessary for site operation, fraud prevention, preferences or security.
Advertising and measurement technologies
When advertising is enabled, Google and other authorized advertising providers may place or read cookies on a visitor’s browser or use web beacons, IP addresses, device information or other identifiers to deliver, secure, personalize where permitted, and measure advertising. Available advertising behavior can depend on location and consent choices.
Your browser controls
Most browsers allow users to block or delete cookies and similar stored data. Blocking some technologies may affect website functions or the way advertising is delivered.
Google advertising services may process data when ads are enabled
VidoSave may use Google advertising services to display advertising. When Google advertising code is active on a page, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, browser or device information and other identifiers to serve, secure, personalize where permitted, and measure advertisements.
Depending on a visitor’s location, applicable law and consent choices, ads may be personalized, non-personalized or otherwise limited. VidoSave does not control the independent privacy practices of Google or other authorized advertising providers.
For more information about how Google processes information from websites and apps that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Some visitors may be asked to make advertising and storage choices
Where required by applicable law, VidoSave may present a consent or privacy-choice interface before certain non-essential advertising, storage or data-processing activities occur.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising consent choices may be collected through a consent management platform compatible with Google’s publisher requirements. Available choices can include consent, refusal or management of eligible purposes and providers, depending on the visitor’s region and the services enabled on the site.
Visitors in other jurisdictions may also receive privacy-choice messages where required or supported. Consent choices can affect whether personalized, non-personalized or limited advertising is available.
Infrastructure and advertising providers may process technical data
VidoSave relies on web hosting, cloud infrastructure, domain, caching, security, consent-management and advertising providers. Those providers may process technical or advertising-related data on VidoSave’s behalf or as independent providers as necessary to deliver, secure, measure or support their services.
VidoSave’s extraction and media-processing infrastructure may also communicate with a source website in order to process the public URL submitted by the user. Advertising and consent providers may separately process browser, device, network and choice information according to their own services and policies.
Data should be kept only as long as reasonably needed
Operational logs, security records, support messages and rights-holder correspondence may be retained for periods reasonably necessary for reliability, abuse prevention, dispute handling, legal obligations or security. Retention periods can differ by data type and provider.
Browser-side cached results or preferences may expire automatically, be cleared by the user, or be removed when browser storage is cleared.
Reasonable measures are used, but no system is risk-free
VidoSave can use HTTPS, access controls, signed media routes, infrastructure protections and other safeguards appropriate to the service. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability.
Internet infrastructure may operate across borders
Hosting, cloud, network, security and support providers may process information in countries other than the user’s own. Where applicable, VidoSave should rely on appropriate provider safeguards and legal mechanisms for cross-border processing.
Privacy rights depend on applicable law
Depending on jurisdiction and the nature of the information involved, users may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent or certain choices concerning targeted or personalized advertising.
Where a consent or privacy-choice interface is available, visitors can use it to manage eligible advertising and storage choices. Browser settings may also be used to control cookies or local storage. Requests concerning information handled directly by VidoSave should be sent through the Contact page with enough information to understand the request.
VidoSave may need to verify a request before acting and may retain information where legally required or necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal claims. Data processed independently by Google or another third-party provider may also be subject to that provider’s own privacy controls and procedures.
VidoSave is not designed to collect children’s account credentials
The public service is not intended as a children’s social network or account platform. Users should not submit unnecessary personal information about children or any private account credentials.
If a parent or guardian believes personal information was submitted inappropriately, they may contact VidoSave for review.
This Privacy Policy may be updated
VidoSave may update this policy when the website, providers, legal requirements or data practices change. The current version will remain published on this page with an updated date.

Privacy FAQ
Do I need a VidoSave account to use the basic downloader?
No. The basic public-link workflow is designed to work without VidoSave account registration.
Should I give VidoSave my social-platform password?
No. Passwords, private session cookies and login tokens are not part of the intended public-link workflow and should not be submitted.
Does VidoSave process the URL I paste?
Yes. The submitted public URL must be processed so the service can attempt to identify the source and return available media information or formats.
Can hosting providers see technical request data?
Normal web infrastructure can process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser data, requested URLs and diagnostic information as part of delivering and securing the service.
Does VidoSave use advertising technologies?
VidoSave may use Google advertising services and related advertising technologies when advertising is enabled. Those services may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device or browser information and other identifiers for ad delivery, security, personalization where permitted and measurement.
Can I manage advertising consent choices?
Where required by law and supported for the visitor’s region, VidoSave may show a consent or privacy-choice interface for eligible advertising, storage and data-processing purposes. Browser settings can also be used to manage cookies and local storage.
Does rejecting personalized advertising stop VidoSave from working?
The basic public-link workflow is separate from advertising personalization. Depending on region and available consent choices, Google may serve non-personalized or limited ads instead, while the downloader can remain available subject to its own technical and usage requirements.
